BNYCF CHESS COACH of the YEAR

This award will be presented to the qualified individuals identified by districts associations based on the following criteria:
- consistently active in coaching chess
- displays real commitment to his/her chess club
- regularly reports club activity to District Association or BNYCF
- consistently active in district Association activity
- shows excellence in coaching as recognized by other coaches and is evident in players progress and development as young people
- shows creativity in teaching chess
- utilizes chess as an educational and motivational tool for teaching Life Skills
- able to encourage and involve kids and adults in chess activities
